RAYMAX Ironworker – Punch Depth Stop with Micrometer Adjustment for Counterboring & Dimpling

RAYMAX ironworker includes a punch depth stop with a micrometer dial (0.02mm resolution) that allows operators to control how far the punch enters the material, enabling operations such as counterboring (partial penetration), dimpling, and marking without full piercing. The depth stop is mechanical and repeatable. Punching force 80 tons. This ironworker is used in sheet metal shops for creating recessed holes for flush rivets and screws. RAYMAX provides a set of special punches for dimpling and counterboring. The depth stop can also be used to prevent tool damage when punching stacks of thin material.

High Precision and Smooth Hydraulic Operation

RAYMAX ironworker features a professional frame structure with high-precision steel welds that eliminate vibration, ensuring smooth and stable operation during punching and shearing cycles. The hydraulic drive system provides consistent force output, while the digital control panel allows operators to set precise stroke depths for counterboring, dimpling, and marking operations. Standard components include quick-change nuts and sleeves, an angled square arm with scale, an electronic back gauge, a measuring table with stops, a punch base, and safety guards. CE-certified electrical components ensure safe and reliable operation in diverse workshop environments.

Space-Saving Design with High Productivity

RAYMAX ironworker occupies minimal floor space while delivering the functionality of five separate machines, saving up to 60% of valuable workshop space compared to having individual punching, shearing, and notching equipment. Available in capacities from 50 to 120 tons, our ironworker processes steel, aluminum, and other alloys, allowing diversity in metal fabrication applications. The integrated design reduces material handling between operations, cutting total production time by up to 40% for multi-step parts. At the 136th Canton Fair, RAYMAX showcased the 90T1950 Q35Y series ironworker, receiving high recognition from European and Southeast Asian customers. Ideal for job shops, maintenance facilities, and construction sites.

22 Years of Manufacturing Expertise and CE Certification

RAYMAX has over 22 years of experience in metal processing machinery manufacturing, with an independent factory that meets customer requirements through professional engineering teams. Our ironworker machines carry CE certification, confirming compliance with European safety and quality standards. All electrical components are imported and CE-certified, with safety fences and electrical interlocks ensuring operator protection. The frame undergoes vibration stress relief treatment to eliminate internal stresses, providing long-term dimensional stability. RAYMAX offers comprehensive after-sales support including installation guidance, operator training, and spare parts supply through our global distribution network.

Related products

An ironworker machine is a multifunctional industrial powerhouse that integrates punching, shearing, notching, bending, and coping operations into a single, space-efficient unit. Unlike traditional fabrication setups requiring five separate machines occupying valuable floor space, a single ironworker consolidates all these critical metalworking processes, dramatically reducing equipment investment and maintenance overhead while streamlining workflow. The working principle centers on a hydraulic or mechanical ram that transfers force to various workstations through a shared power source, allowing operators to switch between functions in seconds rather than minutes. For structural steel fabricators processing beams, channels, angles, and plates for commercial buildings and industrial facilities, this versatility translates directly into faster project completion and lower per-part costs. Typical specifications include punching force ranging from 40 to 200 tons depending on the model, maximum punching diameter up to 32mm through mild steel plates, shearing capacity for steel plates between 6mm and 12mm thickness, bending angles reaching 135 degrees, and comprehensive notching capabilities for various profile shapes including angle iron, channel, and I-beam sections. Power consumption typically ranges from 5.5 to 15kW across different models, with dimensions optimized for standard workshop layouts. Industries served include steel structure fabrication, elevator car manufacturing, trailer component production, power transmission tower construction, shipbuilding, automotive parts manufacturing, and general maintenance and repair operations. Customer Reviews

Michael Thompson

As a supplier to power grid projects, we need reliable equipment for punching and shearing large structural sections. RAYMAX ironworker has handled our daily workload for over a year without any downtime. The 100-ton model punches 25mm holes in 16mm mild steel plate easily. The square notching station for 80mm x 80mm cuts is clean and accurate. The hydraulic overload protection gives peace of mind when working with varying material grades. The quick-change tooling system reduces downtime between different profiles. Their support team responded quickly when we had a minor hydraulic fitting issue. Good investment for heavy fabrication.

Lucas Martins

Starting our fabrication business required equipment that could handle multiple operations without massive capital investment. RAYMAX ironworker provided the perfect balance of functionality and affordability. The machine processes angle steel, flat bars, and round bars with good accuracy. The 50-ton model suits our current production volume for construction hardware. The instruction manual was comprehensive, and the online video tutorials helped our operators get up to speed quickly. The machine's compact footprint fits well in our limited workshop space. RAYMAX offered flexible payment terms that worked for our startup budget. After 10 months, the machine continues to perform reliably.
