RAYMAX Press Brake – Laser Pointer for Bend Line Indication on Wide Workpieces

RAYMAX press brake includes a laser pointer mounted above the die that projects a line exactly where the punch tip will contact the sheet, helping operators align bend lines quickly on wide workpieces (up to 4m). The laser is powered by the machine’s 24V control circuit and has an on/off switch. Bending force 80 tons, length 2.5m. This feature reduces setup time by 30% and reduces scrap from misalignment. RAYMAX provides a laser alignment tool for calibrating the pointer to the punch centerline. The press brake is available in hydraulic and manual versions. The laser is Class 2 (<1mW) and eye-safe under normal use.

Advantages

Wide Die Selection and Arc Bending Capability

RAYMAX press brake is available in hydraulic, servo, and electric variants, offering a wide die angle range from 30° to 180° and the ability to perform radius bending and arc forming using multi-step incremental pressing. Our standard tooling library includes punches with tip radii from 0.2mm to 10mm, accommodating decorative architectural panels, HVAC ductwork, and custom automotive trim. The press brake's deep throat design (up to 400mm) allows bending of large flanged workpieces. The integrated crowning system compensates for bed deflection automatically, maintaining angular accuracy across the entire work length. RAYMAX offers a complete tooling design service where customer parts are analyzed to determine the optimal die selection and bending sequence. With 60% of our production staff holding senior technical titles, RAYMAX can customize any press brake to meet specific customer requirements.

Corrosion-Resistant Coating for Harsh Environments

RAYMAX press brake is coated with a marine-grade epoxy paint system (300μm thickness) and uses stainless steel fasteners and pins, making it suitable for coastal installations and humid tropical climates where standard machines would rust. The press brake frame is shot-blasted to SA 2.5 before painting, and a waterproof electrical enclosure (IP65) protects the controls. This press brake is available in hydraulic and servo-electric versions with bending lengths from 1.5m to 4m. RAYMAX has supplied corrosion-protected press brakes to customers in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and South America, with feedback indicating 5+ years without visible rust. The corrosion-resistant treatment is standard on all export models, ensuring long-term reliability in harsh environments. A 2-year warranty covers the paint finish against peeling or flaking.

Customizable OEM Options for Distributors

RAYMAX press brake offers OEM and private label options for distributors, allowing custom paint colors (RAL codes), logo plates, and user interface branding. Our engineering team adapts control panel layouts and manual languages (English, Spanish, Arabic, Russian, etc.) to meet regional preferences. The press brake itself is a rugged hydraulic model with a welded steel frame that has been stress-relieved by vibration treatment for dimensional stability. Options include light curtains, tooling cabinets, and rear sheet supports. RAYMAX has supplied over 4000 press brakes worldwide since 2002, and our OEM program includes bulk discounts, container loading optimization, and local warehousing partners in key export markets. At the 136th Canton Fair, RAYMAX showcased a 125T2500 DA53T controller CNC press brake, receiving high recognition from European customers.

Electric servo press brakes represent the latest evolution in bending technology, using servo motors to drive the ram directly through ball screws or belt drives instead of hydraulic cylinders and oil pumps. This all-electric design eliminates hydraulic oil entirely, removing the risk of oil leaks, environmental contamination, and regular fluid replacement costs. The environmental benefits are substantial: no hydraulic oil means no disposal concerns, no spill cleanup requirements, and compliance with increasingly stringent environmental regulations. Electric servo press brakes achieve positioning accuracy of ±0.01mm, with transmission precision maintained across thousands of cycles without the thermal drift that plagues hydraulic systems. Hydraulic precision depends on a medium that constantly changes temperature during operation. As a hydraulic press brake cycles, the oil absorbs heat, rising temperature lowers viscosity, altering how fluid flows through proportional valves. When the CNC commands Y1 and Y2 cylinders to stop at bottom dead center, slight viscosity shifts can cause one cylinder to lag, resulting in angular variation, uneven die pressure, and inconsistent bend results over a shift. Electric servo press brakes consume electricity only during the pressing process, with energy savings of up to 90 percent compared to conventional hydraulic machines, drawing roughly 5 kilowatts under full load compared to 15 kilowatts for a hydraulic equivalent. Bending speed reaches 28 to 35 times per minute, with rapid speed of 200mm per second, return speed of 180mm per second, and working speed adjustable from 0 to 30mm per second. Noise levels are reduced by approximately 50 percent compared to hydraulic equivalents, creating a quieter and more comfortable work environment. Maintenance requirements are minimal: there is no need for regular oil changes, no hydraulic valves to service, and no seals to replace. The only routine maintenance needed is lubrication of guide rails and ball screws. For mass production of small to medium-sized parts, high-precision applications in electronics and medical devices, and workshops with environmental or noise constraints, electric servo press brakes are the best choice. Our RX-E series CNC servo electric press brakes are available in tonnages from 30 to 70 tons with working lengths from 1250mm to 2500mm. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a swing beam and guillotine shearing machine?

A swing beam shearing machine uses a rotary blade motion and is suited for thinner sheets and high-speed production, while a guillotine shearing machine features vertical blade movement, offering higher precision (adjustable cutting angle 0.5~2°) for thick plates and heavy-duty applications.
A handheld welding machine is ideal for on-site welding, repairing large workpieces, welding difficult-to-move structures, steel structure field splicing, mold repair, and advertising sign welding, offering flexibility and ease of use without requiring professional welders.
Regular maintenance includes checking hydraulic oil levels, inspecting blade condition and gap adjustment (typically 5-10% of plate thickness), lubricating moving joints, cleaning electrical connections, and verifying safety interlock systems.
RAYMAX holds ISO9001 certification and CE certification, ensuring all machines meet international quality and safety standards for design, manufacturing, inspection, and after-sales service.

RAYMAX press brake handles both straight-line and arc bending across a wide angle range from 30° to 180°. The standard tooling library includes punches with tip radii from 0.2mm to 10mm, allowing us to produce decorative architectural panels and custom automotive trim. The deep throat design of 400mm accommodates large flanged workpieces. The crowning system compensates for bed deflection automatically. The machine processes carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum with consistent accuracy. Our shop uses it for everything from simple brackets to complex curved components. The versatility has allowed us to take on a wider variety of jobs. RAYMAX's tooling design service helped us optimize our die selection. This press brake truly is a general-purpose solution.

Alex Tan

Our workshop is located in a coastal area with high humidity and salt exposure. RAYMAX press brake with marine-grade epoxy paint coating (300μm thickness) and stainless steel fasteners has shown no rust after two years of operation. The shot-blasted frame to SA 2.5 before painting and IP65 waterproof electrical enclosure provide excellent protection. Previous machines from other brands corroded within months. The press brake maintains bending accuracy despite the harsh environment. RAYMAX understood our specific climate challenges and recommended the right specification. The 2-year warranty on the paint finish gave us peace of mind. This is the only press brake that has held up in our coastal workshop. Highly recommend for humid climates.
